David Barton
David Barton is a singer, songwriter and pianist from East Yorkshire, UK.
As an original composer and producer, David has written and recorded for theatre, short film and his own self-penned albums, with influences from blues, jazz and contemporary music.
Launching his music career in 2005 , David won a national competition hosted by Yamaha, Lloyds TSB and Jamie Cullum to feature in a concert held for young performers at The Royal Albert Hall, duetting with Jamie Cullum himself. He later went on to form The David Barton Band, supporting artists such as Katherine Jenkins, Walter Trout and Chas & Dave.
David also tours UK theatres as Producer, lead vocalist and pianist in his rock & roll themed production called Two Pianos - The Rock 'n' Roll Experience.
Jacqui Hicks
Studying saxophone, Jacqui Hicks graduated from Leeds College of Music and Guildhall School of Music & Drama before joining The National Youth Jazz Orchestra for 4 years as a vocalist.
Since 1993, Jacqui has toured and recorded with Brit jazz/funk band Shakatak and has also recorded and toured with pop/latin band, Matt Bianco.
As a session singer, Jacqui has sung on numerous Film soundtracks including Veronica Guerin, Tomb Raider, the Oscar nominated Kubo & the 12 String, The Emoji Movie and sung on many radio jingles.
Jacqui has a long standing association with jazz pianist John Critchinson, recording two albums together and frequently appearing at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club. She also performs with the Art Theman/John Critchinson quartet.
Martin 'Frosty' Beedle
Frosty had singing lessons from the age of 6 and started playing drums aged 9.
He spent his youth playing in ensembles ranging from jazz trios to big bands. He turned professional aged 17 joining the QE2 transatlantic liner. In 1985 he became a member of the pop group Cutting Crew.
He has worked with Boy George, Sinead O'Connor, Midge Ure, Zucchero, Jason Donovan, Kiki Dee, Sarah Brightman, Jimmy Somerville, Gloria Gaynor, Clannad, Harold Melvyn, Kim Wilde, ABC, and Steve Coogan to name but a few. He also holds the drum chair at Mamma Mia in London's West End.
He has been and is touring worldwide with Queen Symphonic / the Queen Rock and Symphonic show which features international singers, a rock band and symphony orchestra.
He has also written music for video productions.
